21+ and responsible play
Poker is a game. Real-money gambling is optional, regulated, and easy to overdo. This page is the boring, necessary bit.

Age
You must be 21 or older to use Sly Poker. That matches the typical U.S. age to sit in a casino poker room. If you are under 21, leave. If you are 21+ but gambling is illegal for you where you live, do not use this site as a reason to break that law.
We do not take bets
Sly Poker does not offer real-money wagering, deposits, cash-out, or house-banked games. The dealer and daily spot are free practice. Lessons are text. The room directory is a list of places that may offer live poker — they are separate businesses, with their own rules and licenses.
Nothing on this site is an invitation to gamble. If you go to a casino or an online operator, that is your decision and their terms, not ours.
Practice is not the same as a cash game
Beating a five-card toy or answering a quiz does not mean you will beat a live table. Variance is real. Only play with money you can afford to lose, and never chase a loss.
If gambling is a problem
Help is available. These services are independent of Sly Poker:
- United States (many states): 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) or 1800gambler.net
- National Council on Problem Gambling: ncpgambling.org — helpline chat and resources
- International Association of Problem Gambling helplines: help by U.S. state
If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services. We are not a treatment provider.
Self-control, not a lock
We do not currently offer account-level self-exclusion because we do not have accounts. If you need a hard block, use device-level tools (screen time, DNS filters, or your bank’s gambling merchant blocks) and the resources above. Do not use this site as a loophole around a casino self-exclusion.
